Nottingham Forest are in advanced negotiations with Palmeiras for the signature of 17-year-old winger Riquelme Fillipi and there ‘is confidence’ a deal will happen.
The teenager has caught the eye of several scouts with his performances for Palmeiras’ youth teams and is rated highly.
He is yet to play for the senior team but is now expected to leave Palmeiras in the ongoing transfer window.
Nottingham Forest have been pushing forward with an attempt to take the 17-year-old winger to the City Ground this summer.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the east Midlands club are now in advanced talks with Palmeiras for the capture of Fillipi.
The negotiations have been moving towards the right direction and the winger is keen on the move this summer.
There ‘is confidence’ on all sides that a deal could be reached for Fillipi’s transfer to Forest for a fee of £5m.
Nottingham Forest have been keen to get a deal over the line and capture the youngster before his value soars in the market.
