Tottenham Hotspur are likely to have to pay £65m if they want to sign one of their attacking targets this summer, according to the Press Association.
Ange Postecoglou wants to add to his options in the attacking third and Spurs have significant room on the wage bill after the exits of a host of players including Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs hold interest in Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke and the man who scored 19 times in 38 Premier League games for the Cherries last term would fit the bill for Postecoglou.
Bournemouth though are under no pressure to sell Solanke and if Tottenham come calling they are happy to hold out for the £65m fee which reflects his release clause.
Whether Spurs would be willing to fork out £65m for Solanke is unclear.
Bournemouth have the striker under contract for a further three years and are loathe to lose him.
Solanke faced Spurs home and away in the Premier League last season but was unable to breach the defence of Postecoglou’s side.
He helped himself to a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest and struck home and away against Manchester United.
