Leeds United and Norwich City target Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is currently at Sheffield United’s training ground as the Blades rush through his capture, according to the Star.

Crystal Palace are happy to loan out Rak-Sakyi for the new season and he has been hugely in demand in the Championship.

Sheffield United recently put themselves in pole position by agreeing a loan fee and salary package with Palace for Rak-Sakyi.

However, Norwich made a late push to try to hijack the deal, while Leeds came in with a big offer for a permanent capture.

Both clubs have failed and Sheffield United are moving along quickly as they guard against further hijack attempts.

Rak-Sakyi, who has been away from Crystal Palace before on loan at Charlton Athletic, is now at Sheffield United’s training base.

He is putting the finishing touches to his move to Bramall Lane and Chris Wilder will be keen to see the move completed soon.

Leeds remain keen to add a winger after selling Crysencio Summerville and are interested in Norwich’s Jonathan Rowe.

Norwich fear losing Rowe, who is also wanted by Marseille, and saw Rak-Sakyi as a replacement.
