A club have now ‘reactivated’ their interest in one of Liverpool’s stars and ‘want to make an offer’ to snap him up this summer.

Liverpool are coming under fire from some quarters for failing to make headway in the transfer window and they were recently snubbed by Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

The jury is now out on whether Liverpool will sign a defensive midfielder and the Reds ending the transfer window with no fresh faces is being floated as a real possibility.

The Reds could be tested with offers for players though and Liverpool winger Luis Diaz is wanted by Barcelona.

According to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, Barcelona ‘reactivated’ their interest in Diaz last week.

The Catalans ‘want to make an offer’ for the Colombia international, however they have work to do financially if they are to be able to do so.

Barcelona do want to bring the 27-year-old in if it is possible.

Diaz has also been linked with Manchester City in recent days, but that talk has been dismissed as wide of the mark.
