The prospective owners of Everton, The Friedkin Group, have a manager in mind to come in and replace Sean Dyche at Goodison Park.

The Friedkin Group have a deal in place with Farhad Moshiri to become the major stakeholders of the club as they are set to acquire his 94 per cent shareholding.

Everton have made a dismal start to their league campaign as they have rescued only one point from the first five matches.

Despite the losses, though, the Toffees hierarchy has kept backing manager Dyche but that could take a drastic change in the upcoming months of the campaign.

It has been suggested that the future owners of the Premier League club are looking to bring in a new manager who they think will fit their project.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, The Friedkin Group are looking closely at former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

He is currently out of work after leaving Lazio in the summer and it has been claimed that the American group feel he could be a good fit.

The Friedkin Group could also move on Everton’s sporting director who, like Dyche, is in the final year of his contract at Goodison Park.
