UEFA is expected to take action against Bayern Munich after the German club's fans displayed an offensive banner in last night's Champions League match against Arsenal.

At the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich fans held aloft a banner saying 'Gay Gunners', along with a drawing of an Arsenal player with their shorts down.

The banner is likely to be judged offensive and homophobic by UEFA and action against Bayern Munich looks set to be taken.

On the pitch the German giants played out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
