Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has said that he will relish the opportunity to play against Arsenal and "get one over" his counterpart Arsene Wenger's side.

The team from London have now lost two matches on the trot, 4-0 in the Premier League against Chelsea and 3-1 in the Europa League against Portuguese outfit Benfica.

And with the tough run of fixtures set to continue, there is hardly any opportunity for Sherwood and his men to relax.

The Lilywhites take on Arsenal on Sunday, followed by the return leg against the Gloriosos and a trip to Anfield later during the month to take on Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool.

The young manager admits that they do have a tall order in front of them but refuses to be pessimistic about it in any way.

In fact he goes on to add that he will relish the opportunity of playing against Arsene Wenger's men.

"It's a fantastic occasion, it always was to play in these games and it'll be my first time as a manager", the 45-year-old told his club's official website.

He also added that he will relish the chance of "standing opposite Wenger and hopefully get one over on them."
