Olivier Giroud insists that there is not too much wrong at Arsenal, despite the club now being locked in a battle with Everton for fourth place in the Premier League.

Arsenal went down to a 3-0 defeat away at Everton last weekend to allow Roberto Martinez's men to close to within one point of the fourth-placed Gunners, and with a game in hand too.

Arsene Wenger's men, who take on Wigan in an FA Cup semi-final clash on Saturday, have now not won for their last four Premier League games, a run which also includes a 6-0 drubbing at Chelsea.

But Giroud feels that major changes are certainly not needed.

"I think it's nothing crazy [that’s wrong]", he told his club's site.

"It's just we have to come back to something simple and restart to the basics, like more commitment, more determination.

"If sometimes you are not at 100 per cent in the head, you are not ready enough… we were not sufficient in our commitment and in our intention to play at Everton.

"We have seen our mistakes on the video and we need to learn about them and not do it again."
