Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels that the FA Cup is an important competition and everybody will give 100% to win the tournament.

The Gunners, having beaten Everton 4-1 in the quarter-final, will take on Championship side Wigan Athletic in the last-four stage of the English cup at Wembley on Saturday, and Wenger, who has not won any silverware with the club for almost nine years, insists that his team are raring to put their hands on a trophy this year.

“Our record recently has not been so great – but this season we are back at Wembley and it’s great”, the Frenchman, who last won the cup in 2005, was quoted as saying by the FA’s official site.

“It’s an important competition – as you know we will not fight for the championship any more so it’s an important competition for us, definitely”, the 64-year-old continued.
