Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his side’s experience of making it to the top four of the Premier League on a regular basis could help them beat Everton for the coveted last Champions League spot.

Roberto Martinez’s side are currently fourth in the league, two points ahead of the Gunners, and will be in action on Wednesday when the host Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.

The Emirates Stadium outfit will also play in midweek, against West Ham today, and will be looking to regain fourth position with a win against the Hammers.

With their fate hanging in balance, Wenger feels that both sides have a difficult road ahead of them, but hopes that focus and determination along with experience can see his side through

"It's down to consistency and we have just to focus on our results and see where we finish", the Frenchman was quoted as saying by the club’s official site.

"The quality of our performances, the quality of our spirit and our focus [makes me think we can finish in the top four].

"Experience counts of course. But the difference will be the quality that you produce on the pitch and that is down to desire, to be faithful to our game we want to play, and get everybody back in our squad”, the 64-year-old continued.

"I believe that they have difficult games, and we have difficult games. We want to focus now on what we know we can do. We have a more complete squad and we want to win our games, no matter what Everton does. We want to finish in a strong way."
