Arsene Wenger has revealed the ball is in Bacary Sagna's court over whether he remains at Arsenal into next term.

The France international right-back sees his contract at Arsenal expire this summer, but has so far not put pen to paper on an extension despite one being proposed by the Gunners.

Sagna has been linked with a number of clubs, including Inter, Liverpool, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.

And when asked about how talks with the defender over a new contract are progressing, Wenger was clear on their status.

"At the moment they are not progressing", he said via his club's site.

"We know what we want from him, he knows what is on the table and that's where we are.

"The ball is not in our camp anymore, it is in his camp, and he needs to come back to us."
