Barcelona have put Arsenal and Manchester United on alert by signalling their willingness to sell midfielder Cesc Fabregas this summer for the right price.

Fabregas was the centre of much transfer speculation last summer, as Manchester United pulled out all the stops to try and bring him back to the Premier League.

The Red Devils failed, with Fabregas not open to leaving the Camp Nou and Barcelona not willing to sell.

However, according to the BBC, the situation has now changed with Barcelona prepared to accept an offer of £30m for the Spain international midfielder.

That will alert Arsenal, who inserted a buy-back clause into their agreement with Barcelona when they sold Fabregas to the Blaugrana in 2011.

Manchester United could also choose to rekindle their interest, even if incoming manager Louis van Gaal is thought to have other preferred targets on his hit-list first.

Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea also recently admitted he is trying to convince Fabregas to head to Old Trafford.

Fabregas has two years remaining on his current contract with Barcelona.
