Germany coach Joachim Low believes Mesut Ozil was off-colour in last night's friendly against Cameroon, but has backed the Arsenal midfielder to show his best at the World Cup.

The Germans fell behind to a Samuel Eto'o strike just past the hour mark, before Thomas Muller (66th minute) and Andre Schurrle (71st minute) put them on top.

But the African giants were not finished and grabbed a draw when Mainz striker Maxim Choupo-Moting found the back of the net in the 78th minute.

Ozil's performance was a concern for Low, however the coach will keep faith with him heading into the World Cup in Brazil.

"Mesut did not have his best day", Low admitted post-match.

"He needs two more weeks, then we'll see a strong Mesut when we watch the World Cup."

Germany have one more friendly scheduled ahead of their World Cup opener against Portugal, that being against Armenia on Friday.
