Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is desperate to extend the contract of Alexandre Lacazette, to fend off interest from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The France international had a very good season at Lyon where he scored 22 goals in 54 appearances in all competition.

Lyon president Aulas is desperate for Lacazette to sign an extension to his current deal, which still has two years left to run, as he fears losing his talented centre forward this summer, according to French daily Le Progres.

The 23-year-old, who is a product of Lyon’s youth academy, has still to sign an extension to his contract and is evaluating his options.

The English trio of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were all linked with an interest in signing the French forward earlier this year and will keep a close eye on proceedings at Lyon this summer.

Lacazette has already earned two international caps for France’s senior team and won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2010 with the French Under-19 side.
