Bacary Sagna has turned down a lucrative offer from Paris Saint-Germain as he has his heart set on joining Manchester City.

The right-back has chosen not to extend his contract at Arsenal, which expires at the end of this month, and is looking for a new challenge.

It is a call Manchester City have met and the Frenchman's agent admitted recently that all being well his client will ply his trade at the Ethiad Stadium next season.

But Manchester City have not been without competition for Sagna's signature.
