Arsenal are still keen on snapping up Alvaro Morata and may be able to acquire the Real Madrid striker without going over the €20m they are prepared to spend to sign him.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has given Morata the green light to move on from the Bernabeu this summer after acknowledging he cannot provide the playing time the young striker craves.

Morata interests a number of clubs, including Juventus, Inter and Wolfsburg, while Arsenal are long-time suitors of the Spaniard.

The 21-year-old's release clause is set at €30m, but Real Madrid are prepared to consider selling him for less, if they can insert a buy-back clause into the deal, which would be valid for a period of two years.

That could suit Arsenal who, according to French broadcaster Eurosport, have around €20m to spend on Morata.
