Arsenal are ready to rival Chelsea for the signature of Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

PSG bought David Luiz from Chelsea for €50m earlier this month and they are looking to balance the books by moving on a number of players.

The Parisians are ready to sanction the sale of Lavezzi this summer and Chelsea have already made an enquiry for the Argentine.

However, Arsenal have entered the race for the 29-year-old and are ready to tussle with their London rivals for his signature, according to Spanish daily Marca.

PSG are looking for a transfer fee of around €20m for the Argentine and want more clubs to join the race, therefore they can extract the maximum value possible.
