Arsenal have joined the list of suitors for Torino winger Alessio Cerci, with the Serie A side expecting a flurry of activity around the player before the transfer window slams shut.

Cerci has been on the radar at both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid this summer, but neither side have yet been able to meet Torino's valuation of the Italy international.

According to Sky Italia, Arsene Wenger's Arsenal have now joined the list of Cerci fans and are weighing up a potential bid for the winger.

Cerci came close to joining Manchester City during Roberto Mancini's reign at the Etihad Stadium, but missed out on a switch by a whisker.

The 27-year-old is a product of Roma's youth system, but moved on from the Giallorossi to Fiorentina in 2010 when he could not breakthrough at the Stadio Olimpico.
