Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has insisted that his wonder striker versus Galatasaray on Tuesday was his best goal so far.

With the scoreline reading 2-0 in favour of Arsenal, a corner kick was cleared and the ball fell into Ramsey’s path, with the Welshman unleashing a thunderous left-footed volley to score his second of the night.

The goal was also the 23-year-old’s fifth in three games against Turkish outfits in Istanbul.

And Ramsey, whose side ultimately won the contest 4-1, with Lukas Podolski also scoring a brace, admitted that he likes playing in the Turkish capital.

“I have seen it back, and it is definitely the best I have scored”, Ramsey told the club’s official site.

“As soon as I hit it, I thought it had a chance of going in and thankfully it went into the top corner.

“I like playing in Istanbul – I have scored a few goals here now and I would like to play here every week if I could!”

The midfielder also has 32 caps and eight goals for Wales to his name.
