Celtic captain Scott Brown is expecting a tough match against Inter Milan tomorrow evening and believes that a draw would be great result to take into the reverse fixture.

Ronny Deila’s men are currently enjoying a rich vein of form having won their last six league fixtures and conceding only once in the process. Comfortably sitting atop the league table, three points ahead of their nearest rivals Aberdeen with a game in hand, Celtic look on course to win their fourth consecutive title.

Brown is expecting a tough challenge tomorrow when the Hoops host Italian giants Inter Milan in the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie at Celtic Park.

However, Brown believes that his team have done the necessary preparations to combat Roberto Mancini’s side. A big part of Celtic’s game plan will be to relentlessly press the Italians and the 31-year-old feels that they have the requisite fitness to harass Inter off the ball.

“We are set in the way the gaffer wants us to play and everyone is pressing high. We're as fit as we've ever been probably”, Brown said at a pre-match press conference.

The midfielder acknowledged the pedigree of their opponents and called them a “great team.”

“Inter are a great team and it's a big task for us, but it's a chance that we're looking forward to.”

The Celtic captain feels that a draw at home would be a great result to take into the reverse fixture at San Siro, but added that if his side can win the match it would be the icing on the cake.

“A draw would be a great result and if we could get a lead that would be great too.”
