John Guidetti has refused to be drawn on staying at Celtic permanently once his loan spell at the club expires.

The Sweden international joined the Bhoys last summer on loan from the season from Manchester City. However, with his contract at the Etihad Stadium expiring in the summer, he has become a man in demand, his status further boosted by impressive performances for Celtic.

Guidetti scored a late equaliser against Inter in the Europa League on Thursday, a club he has been linked with, while Marseille are also thought to be keen on the striker.

The Swede scored again today in Celtic's 4-0 drubbing of Hamilton and was instantly asked about the prospect of him remaining at Celtic beyond the end of the season.

But he was giving nothing away.

"I just want to stay focused on being here and going for all the trophies we can", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"We will see what happens at the end of the season", Guidetti added.

Guidetti will be aiming to further boost his stock this coming Thursday when Celtic travel to Italy for the second leg of their round of 32 Europa League tie with Inter.

The first leg between the two sides was drawn 3-3.
