Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that midfielder Jack Wilshere is the only uncertainty from the Gunners squad ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League fixture against Monaco.

The London outfit are due to play the French side in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium.

Wilshere has been on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury during Arsenal’s defeat to Manchester United in November last year.

The midfielder was among Arsenal’s substitutes during their last Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday, although he wasn’t called into action.

The England international’s participation in tomorrow’s match has not been ruled out, but it remains uncertain. Arsenal have no other injury worries which will allow Wenger to field a full strength eleven.

“The only uncertainty is Jack Wilshere. He was rested in training today”, Wenger told a pre-match press conference today, while stressing the midfielder has not suffered a setback.

“There's no [other] setback”, he added.

Monaco have lost only once in their last ten Ligue 1 outings and they are expected to provide a stiff challenge to Wenger’s side.

A win for Arsenal would see them get a strong hold in the tie ahead of the return fixture to be played at the Stade Louis II in March.
