The draw for the semi-finals of this season's Scottish Cup has been made, throwing up two potentially thrilling ties in the race to reach the final.

Dundee United and Celtic, who played out a 1-1 draw earlier today at Tannardice that was full of incident with three players sent off, will fight in a replay for the chance to face either Inverness CT or Raith Rovers.




The other tie in the draw sees Hibernian, who saw off Berwick 4-0 at Easter Road earlier today, lock horns with Falkirk in an all-Championship affair.

 


It is a tie which means there will definitely be a Scottish Championship side in the Scottish Cup final, though it remains to be seen who they will be playing, with four teams still having to battle for a spot in the other semi-final tie. Celtic will hope to come through their replay with Dundee United however, as they aim to win a domestic treble of trophies.
