Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has provided an update on the fitness of his players ahead of this Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash against Reading, explaining he has a "big squad" to choose from.

Wenger confirmed that only Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are unavailable for the Gunners for their meeting with Reading at Wembley.

And having a near fully fit squad gives Wenger a challenge when it comes to selecting his side, the Frenchman telling a press conference: "We have a massive squad of 24 players at the moment and there are also players on loan. It's important to get the right dimension."

The Arsenal boss further confirmed that Wojciech Szczesny will feature at the weekend, adding: "He will play on Saturday. He had a very good performance at Manchester United."

Wenger also addressed Theo Walcott, who has been continuing to ease himself back from a serious injury suffered last year and has been pushing for a starting spot.

The Arsenal boss said: "Theo Walcott is getting better every week and will have a great goalscoring record in the future."
