Throwing light on his first season at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has revealed that he takes most pleasure from the hat-trick he scored against Galatasaray in October.

Welbeck was shipped to Arsenal at the start of the current season as new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal deemed him surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

The Manchester United youth academy product has shone in his inaugural campaign for the Gunners, having scored eight goals and set up his team-mates with a further six to help them reach the final of the FA Cup and occupy third spot in the league table.

And the 24-year-old has expressed satisfaction over the way the campaign has turned out for him. Pressed to pick his one special performance this term, Welbeck chose his hat-trick in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Turkish outfit Galatasaray in the Champions League last October.

“There have been a few highlights really”, the forward told Arsenal Player .
