Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that he has three offers on his table for Manchester United target Matteo Darmian.

The 25-year-old Italian international full-back’s future at the club has been a source of constant speculation this summer as he has been linked with a host of top clubs such as Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

Manchester United have reportedly made their offer for Darmian and Napoli are also interested in the player, but are struggling to meet Torino’s asking price for the full-back.

Torino president Cairo has admitted that he has three offers on his table but refused to reveal the names of Darmian’s suitors.

“There are three concrete offers”, the Torino supremo told La Stampa.

“But out of respect for those who have made their bids, I cannot reveal [their names].”

Cairo also added that he won’t feel betrayed if Darmian leaves for bigger and better things as he admits that Torino won’t be able to offer things such as Champions League football to the Italian international.

When asked whether he would feel cheated if the 25-year-old leaves, the Torino president said: “No. This is football.

“An amazing guy like Matteo wants to win the Champions League and Il Toro cannot win it.”

Cairo is said to be asking for a fee of around €20m and Manchester United are believed to be ready to return with a new offer for Darmian later this week.
