Molde are eyeing a Europa League pay day if they can beat Celtic at Celtic Park this evening, with their run in the competition potentially earning the club over half their yearly budget.

Victory for Molde in Scotland would guarantee a spot in the knockout stage of the Europa League, further adding to the money they have already earned from their successful run in the competition.

Reaching the group stage earned Molde €4.2m, taking in account prize money, TV money and ticket sales.

Winning a Europa League game earns the club €360,000, with a draw worth €120,000. Should Molde win the group, they will earn a bonus of €500,000.

Even if Molde do not progress beyond the round of 16, they will still earn another €500,000 payment, further increasing the total.
