Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic has hinted his team-mate Anthony Stokes needs to work on his time-keeping on away trips, while stressing he would rather not sit next to the forward.

The Irish centre forward, who joined Celtic in 2010 from Hibernian, is no longer a key part of Ronny Deila’s Celtic squad and has only made two appearances for the Bhoys this season.

Other strikers are ahead of the 27-year-old in the pecking order and the former Arsenal youngster may improve his chances if he shows more enthusiasm at boarding the coach for away games.

Team-mate Rogic has revealed that Stokes is a regular when it comes to being late for the team-bus on away trips and in the process indicated that the Celtic striker needs to keep a close eye on his watch.

When asked who is always last on the team bus, the Australian told Celtic TV: “Anthony Stokes.”

The Australia international also revealed that Stokes might not be the best companion inside the team bus on away trips.

When asked, who he avoids sitting beside on away trips, the 22-year-old said: “Anthony Stokes.”. He was asked why, smiled and said: "Just Anthony Stokes [laughs]."

The striker might have to work on his time-keeping on away trips if he wants to get back to the good books of his team-mates and Deila at Celtic soon.
