Charly Musonda’s father has insisted that his son should leave Chelsea to further his career, news which will be eagerly digested by both Arsenal and Manchester United, who have been linked with holding an interest in the player.
The Belgian forward’s future at the club has been a subject of furious speculation as he is unhappy at not being handed a chance to establish himself in the first team.
The 19-year-old has scored 12 goals for Chelsea’s Under-21s this season and helped the Blues to lift the FA Youth Cup and the UEFA Youth League last term, but he is yet to break into their first team, despite their recent struggles.
And he has been urged to quit Chelsea in order to aid his development as his father insisted that his son should definitely leave Stamford Bridge.
Musonda Sr. was quoted as saying by Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant: “He should definitely leave.
