Fixture: Arsenal vs Barcelona
Competition: Champions League Round of 16
Kick-off: 19:45 (UK time)

Arsenal have officially announced their starting line-up and substitutes to lock horns with European champions Barcelona at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who is looking for a strong showing from his side ahead of the second leg at the Camp Nou, trusts in Olivier Giroud in attack, with the Frenchman supported by Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey will want to carry a threat from midfield, while Francis Coquelin looks to protect the back four.

At the back, Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny form the central pairing ahead of goalkeeper Petr Cech. Wenger can turn to Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott off the bench if needed.

Arsenal met Barcelona in the final of the Champions League in 2006, but suffered defeat to the Spanish side. Wenger has never won the Champions League as a manager, while runners-up is Arsenal's best finish.
