Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has distanced himself from reports linking him with making a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer transfer window.

The Sweden international, whose present contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer, has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium next season.

Ibrahimovic has been in fine form for the French champions in the present campaign, scoring 35 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.

But Wenger, whose side were knocked out of both the FA Cup and the Champions League recently, insisted that signing Ibrahimovic is not his priority at the moment.

"At the moment we are not on that case", Wenger said in his pre-match press conference held this morning, when asked about Ibrahimovic.

Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League with 52 points from 29 games, 11 behind leaders Leicester City, who have played a game more.

The Gunners, who are next up against Everton in an away league game tomorrow, defeated the Merseyside club 2-1 in the corresponding fixture in October.
