Departing Celtic manager Ronny Deila has backed the club to win 10 Scottish Premiership titles on the trot.

The Hoops will secure the Scottish Premiership for the fifth straight season if they manage to beat Heart of Midlothian at the Tynecastle Stadium later in the day.

With just four league games remaining in the season, Celtic find themselves nine points clear at the top of the table.

And Deila, who will step down from his post as Celtic manager after the end of the season, feels the club are set up “very well” to win the league title for 10 consecutive seasons.

However, the Norwegian warned Celtic never to lose their hunger as he feels it will be an important factor in helping the club achieve the unprecedented feat.

“Very well, very well”, Deila said in his pre-match press conference when asked how Celtic are set up to win 10 league titles in a row.

"We have been the best in the last four years and we can be this year as well.

"And when you are the best, the only thing you have to be is hungry.

"Everyone has to want to get better every day to improve because you have the advantage over the other teams and that will continue if the work has been done and done even better."

Deila, who took charge of Celtic in 2014, helped the club to the league title and the Scottish League Cup in his first season in Scotland.
