Mauro Icardi's agent, his wife Wanda, is in London and meeting with Arsenal to discuss their interest in her husband.

Arsene Wenger's men have been linked with making a move to sign the Inter striker, as the Frenchman desperately wants to add more firepower to his squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

Icardi is now emerging as a genuine possibility for Arsenal, with Wanda, according to Sky Italia, holding talks with the Gunners in London and the player himself being open to the move.

The ball is now set to be put back in to Inter's court as they will have to react when Arsenal put in a bid for Icardi.

Inter have continued to insist that they do not want to sell Icardi as they view him as a key man, but the Nerazzurri are set to have their resolve severely tested.
