Juventus are in pole position to sign Chelsea target Sead Kolasinac from Schalke at the end of the season, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The left-back, whose present contract with Schalke will expire this summer, was linked with leaving the Bundesliga outfit in January, with Juventus and Chelsea interested in snapping him up.

However, Kolasinac stayed put in Schalke as the Bianconeri and the Blues failed to land their target during the recently closed winter transfer window.

But it seems Juventus have moved ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign the 23-year-old, who has thus far scored twice and provided six assists in 18 appearances in all competitions this season, in addition to helping out his team’s defence.

It has also been claimed that the Italian giants have booked a medical date with the Bosnian next week in Turin.
