Marseille coach Rudi Garcia is growing impatient at in-demand defender Boubacar Kamara not yet having signed a professional contract with the club.

The highly-rated 17-year-old has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, who are aware he has not yet committed to launching his professional career at the Stade Velodrome.

Marseille have pushed the boat out financially to convince Kamara, but as yet to no effect and Garcia showed signs of growing impatient with the youngster when questioned about why he had not been included in the matchday squad for the trip to Bordeaux.

"He's not a possibility", Garcia said at a press conference.

"We do not know what he's going to do next season. We'll see. That's all", the Marseille boss continued.

"The conditions, they do not interest me. I played him this season, he was with the professional squad.

"We made a proposal to him, he did not come back to us.

"If he wants to continue at OM he is welcome. If not…"

It remains to be seen how long Marseille will keep their offer, which has been reported to sit around the €12,000 per month mark, on the table for Kamara.

The fact the defender has not yet signed a new deal though will be encouraging for his Premier League suitors, who continue to lurk in anticipation of their chance to sign him.
