Arsenal target Wesley has not ruled out the possibility of leaving Club Brugge during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old forward has emerged on the transfer radar of Arsenal and the north London club are reportedly preparing an offer to sign him in the winter window.

Wesley is being closely followed by Arsenal scouts and he is believed to be one of the players Unai Emery is considering taking to the Emirates in the middle of the season.

Club Brugge coach Ivan Leko has already stated that Wesley is ready to play for a big club and the player himself has not ruled out a transfer in January.

He rejected a chance to join Lazio in the summer and believes it was a good decision as he got more time to develop at Club Brugge.

Wesley indicated that he would like to move in the summer, but has not dismissed the notion of leaving the Belgian club in January.

“It was not easy to refuse a bid from a club like Lazio, but I knew it was better for me”, the forward was quoted as saying by Belgian daily Nieuwsblad.

“I love Club Brugge and got the chance to develop myself.”

He added: “Normally, I would still until June, but we have to wait.

“I’ll stay here as long as I can.”

Club Brugge could find it hard to refuse a substantial offer for Wesley in next month's transfer window.
