Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up on their interest in Feyenoord youngster Orkun Kokcu, who is firmly on Arsenal’s radar.

A product of the Feyenoord academy, the 17-year-old midfielder has been attracting the attention of scouts from across Europe with his performances at youth level.

He has netted seven goals and has five assists to his name for Feyenoord’s youth team, and has quickly been emerging as one of the most talked about talents in Dutch football.

Arsenal recently sent scouts to watch Kokcu in action and they have been monitoring his progress with a view to signing him.

But according to French outlet Buzzsport.fr, PSG have also been seduced by the talent of the teenage midfield sensation and are keen to take him to the French capital as soon as possible.

He signed a two-year contract with Feyenoord in the summer, but PSG are considering making a move for him, with internal discussions within the club favouring a transfer.

The Parisians are also aware of the growing interest in Kokcu and want to move early in order to beat off competition.

More PSG scouts are expected to watch the young Dutchman in the coming weeks as the Parisians look to build up their interest in him.
