Manchester City confirmed earlier this week that Aguero will be leaving the club on a free transfer in the summer after spending ten years at the Etihad.

The 32-year-old is Manchester City’s highest ever goalscorer and is set to add a fifth league title to his list of accolades by the time he leaves.

His status as a free agent has left a number of European clubs scrambling for his signature and there are claims that the forward has already received several approaches.

Juventus are claimed to be one of the clubs who want Aguero and, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the club are looking to step up on their efforts to sign him.

The Serie A giants are looking to hold more talks with the player’s representatives to steal a march on rivals.

The Bianconeri want to work out an agreement with the striker as soon as possible and get the deal over the line before the other clubs can react.

Aguero’s wage demands are to the tune of €15m per season, but Juventus are said to have found a way to meet that figure.
