Chelsea signed Ziyech from Ajax last summer but his first season at the club has been underwhelming.

He made only 15 starts in the Premier League last season and was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League final.

While he has a Champions League winner’s medal around his neck, Ziyech’s future at Chelsea has come under the scanner after just one year.

AC Milan are interested in the winger and, according to Sky Italia, they are now preparing to step up on their interest in the player.

Ziyech has emerged as a popular name in AC Milan’s transfer plans but so far, they have not made a concrete move.

However, the Serie A giants are looking to deepen discussions for the Moroccan and are keen to hold talks with Chelsea.

There are claims that Chelsea are open to letting the player leave if they receive a substantial offer for him.

AC Milan are not the only Italian club who have their eyes on Ziyech as there are suggestions that Napoli are also interested.
