Aubameyang reached Barcelona earlier today in the hope of completing a loan move to the Nou Camp from Arsenal.
There were claims earlier this week that the talks between the two clubs hit a dead end after they failed to agree on a solution for his wages.
It was suggested that the deal was off but it emerged that Barcelona were yet to cancel the forward’s scheduled medical.
And it is now being claimed that the two clubs are still very much in negotiations as Barcelona push to sign Aubameyang on loan.
With time running out, the two clubs are racing against the clock to find a deal for the striker’s loan to the Nou Camp.
The Gabonese wants to escape Arsenal after falling out with Mikel Arteta and wants to join Barcelona.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can work out an agreement for Aubameyang to Arsenal in the coming hours.
