The Gers were without Morelos for the Old Firm derby earlier this week and in the Colombian’s absence slipped to a 3-0 loss at Celtic Park.
Kemar Roofe started up top for Rangers, but the Gers drew a blank at the home of their rivals and have now been knocked off the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

They are set to be given a boost now though because Morelos has returned following international duty with Colombia.
Boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be keen to check on Morelos’ condition as Rangers shape up for a crunch home match against Hearts on Sunday.
Morelos was called up by Colombia for their international meetings with Peru and Argentina, but failed to make the matchday squad for either game.
Van Bronckhorst will now be looking to see how much the travelling has taken out of the 25-year-old.
The striker has found the back of the net eight times in 19 league games for Rangers so far this season, along with chipping in with four assists.
