After two years, Manchester United are set to embark on a pre-season tour where they will be travelling to south east Asia and Australia.

For now, they are set to open their pre-season preparations with a game against Premier League rivals Liverpool in Bangkok before travelling to Australia.

At the moment, Manchester United are scheduled to play two games, against Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

There are claims that they will be playing more games in Australia before returning to England.

But for the moment, nothing is agreed upon beyond the games the club have already announced.

It has been suggested that it is entirely possible they will schedule more pre-season games in Australia in the summer.

Manchester United will have a new manager in place before they will fly out for their pre-season tour.

The club will also hope to complete most of their major transfer incomings before their pre-season preparations.
