The highly-rated Italian tactician has been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain job and is tipped to be one of the candidates the French side will consider to replace Mauricio Pochettino.


There has been no contact between Conte and PSG, but the former Inter coach is not guaranteed to still be at Tottenham next season.



He will hold talks with Tottenham after the season has ended in order to decide whether or not to continue in north London.


Conte has been clear that he will not be satisfied with simply fighting to finish in the Premier League’s top four and has loftier ambitions.



Tottenham, Conte believes, need at least six new players this summer as he looks to challenge for silverware with the club.


It is unclear if chairman Daniel Levy and football managing director Fabio Paratici will agree with Conte’s assessment and splash the cash in the forthcoming transfer window.



If Spurs finish fourth this season then more money would likely be available to spend, but wherever they finish, Conte will not change his view that an overhaul of the squad is needed to push forward.
