Kane failed with his efforts to leave Spurs and join Manchester City last summer, as he wanted to join a club where he can get his hands on trophies.

The hitman struggled with his form in the recently concluded campaign under former boss Nuno Espirito Santo, but the Spaniard’s predecessor Conte managed to get the striker and the team performing at their best.

Conte managed to lead Tottenham to a Champions League spot finish in the Premier League and he is looking to overhaul his squad in the forthcoming window as he wants his side to have enough quality to challenge for trophies.

Tottenham’s owners are willing to match Conte’s ambitions and they have injected £150m into the club, with most of that going into player recruitment.

And Kane believes that he can make his dream of winning a trophy a reality at Tottenham, as the club are prepared to back Conte strongly in the transfer market.

The striker is impressed by the impact Conte has had at the club so far into his stint and is wowed by the plans he has in store for the club next season.

Conte is set to meet with Spurs managing director of football Paratici in the coming days to discuss transfers, with the club tipped to promise him around six new signings.
