The 26-year-old midfielder joined the Belgian outfit in the summer of 2021 from KRC Genk and has established himself as a regular starter in the Leuven side.

Millwall narrowly missed out on a spot in the Championship playoffs last season, finishing eighth in the league table.

This summer, Gary Rowett is determined to strengthen his squad to push for promotion in the upcoming season.

The Lions have identified Leuven’s midfielder De Norre as an ideal candidate for their midfield.

De Norre has two years left on his current contract and Millwall have entered negotiations with the Belgian outfit for the midfielder’s signature.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, De Norre has completed his medical, but final details of the deal are yet to be agreed between Millwall and Leuven before he can pen a deal.

It is said that the former Belgian Under-21 international is set to sign a three-year contract with Millwall.

Last season, De Noree made 34 league appearances for Leuven, scoring four goals while laying on four assists.
