Scamacca is the subject of interest from several Italian outfits this summer and Roma are particularly keen on him.

Inter Milan also remain interested in Scamacca but have not submitted any bid to West Ham for the striker’s services.

Frattesi, who joined Inter Milan this summer, revealed that he is aware of the situation regarding the Hammers’ star and added that he has not spoken with Scamacca regarding his next transfer destination.

The Inter Milan midfielder, however, admitted that he would be happy if he got the opportunity to play side by side with Scamacca next season.

“I know the situation and as a friend, I preferred to avoid adding myself to the hundred people who ask, ‘where are you going?’, Frattesi told Italian daily Corriere della Sera (via Calciomercato.com).

“It’s delicate, let’s talk about something else.

“Of course, should we find ourselves playing together, I would be pleased.”

West Ham are open to letting the Italian international leave this summer, but are keen for any loan agreement to contain an obligation to buy.
