The Premier League champions were considering an offer from Bayern Munich for their number 2 goalkeeper Ortega.

However, Guardiola has now decided against letting him go as he does not want to search for a new second-choice custodian.

It has been claimed that several goalkeepers have been offered to Manchester City in the last few hours as a potential replacement for Ortega.

And according to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Leeds shot-stopper Meslier is one of the goalkeepers who has been offered to Manchester City.

Leeds have been expecting offers for the Frenchman this summer and signed Karl Darlow earlier in the window.

But the Yorkshire giants are yet to receive a concrete offer for the French goalkeeper, a player they are open to moving on, this summer.

Manchester City have declined against making a move for Meslier as they want to keep Ortega in the ongoing window.

It remains to be seen whether Leeds receive any bids for Meslier as the club look to move him on this summer.
