The full-back has signed a new and improved contract with Spurs after some eye-catching performances this season under Ange Postecoglou.

Udogie has seamlessly adapted to the Premier League and has wasted little time in securing a place in the starting eleven of the Australian boss, who rates him highly.

The new deal will take him up to 2030 and he has also received a pay rise in line with his improved performances as Tottenham show him how valued he is.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the new deal will now see him earn more than €2m net per year at Tottenham.

It is a big rise from what he originally signed up for with the north London club and a sign of his growing importance.

Tottenham believe that they have a massive future talent on their hands who most big clubs in Italy wanted to sign when he was in Serie A.

Spurs will now be looking for Udogie to continue his fine form over the rest of the season as they push to try to finish in the top four.
