Brobbey has eleven goals in 23 appearances in all competitions this season and has been the main man up front for Ajax.

 

The forward was coming along when Ten Hag was the Ajax coach and worked with him for a short spell with the Dutch giants

 

 

 

The 21-year-old striker admits that he learned a lot while he worked under Ten Hag and was always busy with the then-Ajax coach and his assistant Mitchell van der Gaag.

 

Brobbey stressed the importance of Ten Hag’s one-to-one coaching and admitted that the current Manchester United boss was clear when it came to his instructions on the training pitch.

 

 

When asked what he learned from Ten Hag, the forward told Dutch magazine Voetbal International: “A lot.

 

“I was often busy with him and also with Van der Gaag.

 

 

“What I have to do – put pressure and things like that.

 

“He was very clear, Erik.”

 

Ten Hag has been under pressure as Manchester United boss this season, but boosted his position with a 0-0 draw at Liverpool on Sunday.
