Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho could complete a loan move to Borussia Dortmund in time to play in friendlies in Spain this week.

Dortmund are locked in talks with Manchester United over taking Sancho to the Westfalenstadion on loan.

The negotiations are progressing at a smooth pace and a deal between the two clubs is believed to be imminent.

Sancho is keen to move on from Old Trafford as soon as possible and Dortmund are also pushing to get the deal over the line in the coming days.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, the winger could complete the loan move in time to appear in friendlies for Dortmund in Spain this week.

The Dortmund squad flew out to Spain earlier today for a training camp where they will also play friendlies against AZ Alkmaar and Standard Liege.

With Sancho having played no football since October, Dortmund are keen to get him to the camp to work on his fitness.

Manchester United are expected to shoulder the major portion of his wages during his loan stay at Dortmund.

The England winger fell out with Erik ten Hag earlier in the season and has been training away from the first-team squad.
